We are fortunate to have found Eight Design and to work with Monday and Victor. They work well as a team and have constructive ideas to design a house suitable for young kids. They are also very responsive and accommodating to our requests. We are able to move into our unit earlier than expected because of the hard work of the team of designers, electricians etc. Monday gives daily updates on the progress of the house and assure us that everything will go as planned. My family decided to engage Eight Design for our home renovations after seeing the many positive reviews online. After submitting a request for quote via their website, I did not have to wait long before Eight Design reached out to arrange an appointment in person to find out more about my family’s renovation requirements.
We are glad to have Aaron and Ker Ying work with us on our major home renovation, and they were professional, knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole renovation project. Since the start of the project at the requirements gathering stage all the way to the project completion, Aaron and Ker Ying were helpful and proactively stepped in to give advice whenever required on both design and construction matters. In addition, there were regular updates provided to us on the progress of our renovation works, and they were also responsive in replying to our queries when we approached them.
Overall, the renovation works proceeded smoothly with no major issues and we are pleased with the outcome of the renovation. The experience with Eight Design is pleasant and matched the expectations which we had.

We had engaged Eight Design for our new BTO flat reno, working with their designer Ms Peggy Ooi who coordinated the entire process well and attend to all details to our needs. Our enquiries along the way were promptly attended without fail. Under her supervision, the project flow was smooth and hassle free. Results of the completed products are aesthetically pleasing, satisfactory and value for money.
Eight Design was the first ID company that we went for a quote followed by several other companies. We shortlist IDs based on their commitment, responsiveness & passion when delivering the end result which Ivan & Ryan surpass the expectations. They were definitely not pushy & always ready to share ideas despite knowing that we have not completed our selection of ID. Due to our busy work schedule during the day, we only managed to check emails & respond to IDs at night or weekends which I was amazed that both of them were always so responsive.
Ivan & Ryan are very detailed in their work, giving valuable suggestions & understand the concept that we wanted. They are so detailed up to the lightings & fixtures in the house which in the end, we understood why when we see the outcome. It was awesome.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Aaron from Eight Design for the interior design of our BTO and I have to say my wife and I are very pleased with the final outcome. From the initial consultation to the handover, Aaron has shown his eye for detail and design knowledge.
Design and Creativity:
From the initial meeting to the design phase, Aaron took the time to understand our lifestyle and our design needs. When some of our ideas doesn’t seem to fit into the overall theme, Aaron was able advise us on what changes can be made to fit the overall theme as well as it being practical enough for our day to day use.
Workmanship:
Despite it being our first house renovation, we dare say that Eight Design has one of the best carpentry workmanship among the many I.D firms in Singapore. This is because of a few reasons. First, one of the many complaints that we usually see from homeowners was that some of the carpentry may knock onto each other or to the fan / lighting when opened causing inconvenience. However, we did not experience any of this. Second, the overall feel of the carpentry from the trimmings, laminate to the soft closing hinges, everything just feels well made. Lastly, feedbacks from our guests were great as well but I think the main reason is that Eight Design have their own in-house carpentry & electrical team making it easy for them to QC and amend any defects promptly.
Communication and Professionalism:
Aaron was always approachable and responsive to the many queries and concerns that we have. Among the many IDs that we met, he was the only one that suggested to meet at our BTO (we started our ID search after collecting keys) instead of meeting at the office for the initial meeting despite not knowing if we will commit to him. He also accompanied us when we were selecting lights and we were able to ask for advice on the spot to see if it suits our design. His professionalism and friendly demeanour made the entire renovation process enjoyable and stress free.
Value for money:
Definite value for money. Initially, Eight Design came across as a “premium” ID firm to us and may not fit our budget. After receiving the quotation from Eight Design and comparing it to the various quotes we have received including some firms known to link homeowners directly to contractors, Eight Design’s quote were actually comparable and one of the lowest that we have received. From the initial quote to the final payment made, there wasn’t any VO charged that wasn’t requested by us. Quotations are also listed per item and explained clearly on the works done.
Overall, despite us being quite particular and nitpicking, there was hardly any defects or rectification that we needed. For the few small items that needed adjustments, Aaron and Eight Design were very prompt in rectifying it. The timeline planned out was also accurate and there were no delays in the handover. Wholeheartedly recommend homeowners that are looking for renovation works to look for Aaron from Eight Design!

Having a customer-orientated ID played a critical role to enable us to complete a challenging stay-in reno recently. Jayden and his team from Eight Design did their utmost efforts to ensure the work run smoothly during the 2.5-month reno on our 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
