We had engaged Eight Design for our new BTO flat reno, working with their designer Ms Peggy Ooi who coordinated the entire process well and attend to all details to our needs. Our enquiries along the way were promptly attended without fail. Under her supervision, the project flow was smooth and hassle free. Results of the completed products are aesthetically pleasing, satisfactory and value for money.
Eight Design was the first ID company that we went for a quote followed by several other companies. We shortlist IDs based on their commitment, responsiveness & passion when delivering the end result which Ivan & Ryan surpass the expectations. They were definitely not pushy & always ready to share ideas despite knowing that we have not completed our selection of ID. Due to our busy work schedule during the day, we only managed to check emails & respond to IDs at night or weekends which I was amazed that both of them were always so responsive.Ivan & Ryan are very detailed in their work, giving valuable suggestions & understand the concept that we wanted. They are so detailed up to the lightings & fixtures in the house which in the end, we understood why when we see the outcome. It was awesome.They communicate constantly with us so that we were always informed about the progress of the renovation. When met with setbacks, they will meet us with proposals, sharing their thoughts but ultimately allow us to make the decision. They accompany us in tiles selection, provide inputs & advice on our selection to ensure the aesthetics look of the house is not compromise. Workmanship of Eight Design is impressive, of high quality & both of them will ensure job done is up to standards.They met the timeline and budget, even much earlier, giving us ample time to move in without stress. Having said that, owners have to play their part and comply to the timeline when ID request for the delivery of items.Overall, it was a hassle-free & enjoyable experience. I am incredibly pleased with the outcome of my house renovation. Ivan & Ryan are a great team, their commitment to ensure customer satisfaction truly set them apart with others. I recently had the pleasure of working with Aaron from Eight Design for the interior design of our BTO and I have to say my wife and I are very pleased with the final outcome. From the initial consultation to the handover, Aaron has shown his eye for detail and design knowledge.Design and Creativity:From the initial meeting to the design phase, Aaron took the time to understand our lifestyle and our design needs. When some of our ideas doesn’t seem to fit into the overall theme, Aaron was able advise us on what changes can be made to fit the overall theme as well as it being practical enough for our day to day use.Workmanship:Despite it being our first house renovation, we dare say that Eight Design has one of the best carpentry workmanship among the many I.D firms in Singapore. This is because of a few reasons. First, one of the many complaints that we usually see from homeowners was that some of the carpentry may knock onto each other or to the fan / lighting when opened causing inconvenience. However, we did not experience any of this. Second, the overall feel of the carpentry from the trimmings, laminate to the soft closing hinges, everything just feels well made. Lastly, feedbacks from our guests were great as well but I think the main reason is that Eight Design have their own in-house carpentry & electrical team making it easy for them to QC and amend any defects promptly.Communication and Professionalism:Aaron was always approachable and responsive to the many queries and concerns that we have. Among the many IDs that we met, he was the only one that suggested to meet at our BTO (we started our ID search after collecting keys) instead of meeting at the office for the initial meeting despite not knowing if we will commit to him. He also accompanied us when we were selecting lights and we were able to ask for advice on the spot to see if it suits our design. His professionalism and friendly demeanour made the entire renovation process enjoyable and stress free.Value for money:Definite value for money. Initially, Eight Design came across as a “premium” ID firm to us and may not fit our budget. After receiving the quotation from Eight Design and comparing it to the various quotes we have received including some firms known to link homeowners directly to contractors, Eight Design’s quote were actually comparable and one of the lowest that we have received. From the initial quote to the final payment made, there wasn’t any VO charged that wasn’t requested by us. Quotations are also listed per item and explained clearly on the works done.Overall, despite us being quite particular and nitpicking, there was hardly any defects or rectification that we needed. For the few small items that needed adjustments, Aaron and Eight Design were very prompt in rectifying it. The timeline planned out was also accurate and there were no delays in the handover. Wholeheartedly recommend homeowners that are looking for renovation works to look for Aaron from Eight Design!
Having a customer-orientated ID played a critical role to enable us to complete a challenging stay-in reno recently. Jayden and his team from Eight Design did their utmost efforts to ensure the work run smoothly during the 2.5-month reno on our 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Besides having reasonable quotation, Eight design was able to deliver quality carpentry work and coordinate with other sub-contractors to fulfil the job requirements. Although issues and hiccups surfaced inevitably in many reno projects, Jayden readily assisted to resolve them. Thanks again, Jadyen and his team!

Engaged Eight Design for my home Reno and was assigned Peter. From start to end, the experience was professional and fuss free. It was our first Reno experience and although we did a minor one, the attention and commitment from Peter was commendable. We are happy with the design and enjoyed the experience. Absolutely happy with 8 Design's work, in particular the PIC Jayden as he has demonstrated the utmost professionalism to our requests and has completed the work on time. His attention to details had helped design my house a place I could be proud to call my home. In particular, I was most impressed by his recommendation on my cupboard on the balcony to maximize the space and has even agreed to make some minor adjustments upon request post completion. Their team was not only skilled but also incredibly courteous and respectful of my space. I would highly recommend Jayden to anyone looking to elevate their home's interior design.

Managing renovation while residing overseas, can be daunting. However, we are fortunate to work with Dante Durumpili of Eight Design for a complete interior design and renovation of our HDB flat. It was definitely stress-free, smooth and rewarding experience. After narrowing down 2 interior designer companies, we decided to engage Eight Design for their services. Ryan was the coordinator for this project, and we were impressed by his commitment and dedication to follow through the various project stages knowing that we have a tight timeline to complete the renovation work i.e. before CNY 2024. Even during our holiday trip in Dec, we were still discussing on the design plan via whatsapp and he would update us regularly on the renovation status. Among the quotations given, Eight design’s was acceptable and within our budget. As the project went into the construction stage, Nurul gave consistent and informative updates and was very responsive to our queries, often answering when we ask a question on whatsapp. With several changes and challenges faced along the way, she updated and advised us promptly. She also accede to our request. Towards the end of the project, Nurul was responsive to rectify defects and workmanship issues highlighted in our final checks and it was well followed up Overall we are very happy with the work done. We would recommend anyone who want to have their house complete makeover or renovation, Eight Design is the choice. Remember clear communication between you and your designer is very important from the beginning till the end of the project. Owner/buyer needs to be attentive on the details as it will only work out on the success of the project and do a thorough site survey before finalizing the details on the quote that have to be delivered. Design The initial intent was to have industrial theme. But decision was changed as the modern industrial theme suits the current layout of the unit. Workmanship There were some issues but those were eventually rectified. Overall, the finished renovation has good workmanship. Service Although some minor hiccups were experienced, the ID was very responsive and accede to our request and was very prompt. Value for Money The cost is high but acceptable as we decided to go for better materials and quality.
